Chemical peels are administered by our cosmetic specialists in a brief in-office visit. Before treatment, our experts will conduct a thorough facial assessment to discuss your cosmetic goals and determine the most suitable peel(s) for you. Once you’re comfortably seated, a single layer of the peel solution is carefully applied to your skin.
Additional layers may be applied as tolerated. During the treatment, you may experience a “tingling,” “stinging,” or mild “burning” sensation as the active ingredients work to exfoliate the skin. The peel will then be neutralized, and post-care will be provided. Mild redness may follow the treatment, and more advanced peels may involve minimal downtime, including possible peeling of the outer skin layer.
Your Board-Certified Dermatologist may recommend a series of chemical peels to address persistent acne scars or conditions like melasma.
